Vehicle Description
Born as a 1970 Malibu, this car was stripped down and beautifully
restored as a 1971 Chevelle SS re-creation. Powered by a hand-built
454ci big-block engine, this Resto-Mod cranks out 500hp backed by a
new Super T10 4-speed transmission, 12-bolt rear end with
limited-slip differential and 3:73 gears. The engine is cooled by a
Be Cool 4-core aluminum radiator with electric fans. The
wonderfully detailed engine sits in a color-matched engine
compartment for that show-car look. The Dodge Viper Metallic Blue
paint is stunning, and the black SS stripes complement the new
tinted glass perfectly. The lowered aggressive stance is created
with brand-new 18" Ridler chrome rims. The interior is home to
all-new everything, from an SS dash with Dakota Digital VTX gauges
to the Hurst 4-speed shifter, modern 3-point retractable seatbelts,
and custom Auto Sound radio with 6.5" kick-panel speakers and 6x9"
rear speakers paired with a Pyle 4-channel amp. A boxed-in,
carpeted trunk compartment complements the interior, giving it a
finished look. This Chevelle comes with plenty of performance
upgrades, such as 4-wheel power disc brakes, a performance sway
bar, 2" lowering springs, stainless-steel headers and a 3" X-pipe
with two-chamber mufflers.
