Vehicle Description
1972 Dodge Challenger
It is not very often that we have a solid Mopar that we can offer
as a great starter muscle car or daily driver but this is one! It
is a solid running and driving vehicle that is ready to put the
keys in and cruise.
The Challenger is powered by a 318ci engine with 4-barrell Holley
and 727 TurboFlight transmission with a stock Chrysler rear-end.
The engine has been dressed up a little with Mopar head covers and
a chrome alternator but, for the most part, is just a clean power
plant. The engine and transmission have been completely gone
through, been tuned up and all gaskets/seals replaced. The car runs
incredible.
It is sitting on the original frame/suspension with disc brakes up
front and drums in the rear with 15 inch classic Crager wheels and
BF Goodrich tires. The undercarriage is very clean and rust free.
The paint is in good shape with just one nick on the driver's rear
quarter that our body shop is touching up. There is some spot rust
under the vinyl top (which is common) and at the bottom of the rear
window. These are the typical spots on Challengers and it is only
surface grade under the paint. We are happy to include a quote to
strip and repaint the entire car to show quality at our shop if you
so desire. Overall, it is a good looking, very drivable cruising
car. There are some damaged trim pieces around the body that we are
also in the process of replacing as of this post.
The interior is stock and in very good condition. There is a small
tear in the driver's seat but other than that, good and stock. It
even comes with a vintage AM/FM/Cassette! Of course, we can outfit
the car easily with a new receiver including Bluetooth should you
want the upgrade.
You will not find a better mechanically sound Challenger out there
to just drive or restore.
We don't expect it to last long at only $20,500.00!
This car is located and being represented for a collector in the
Seattle, Washington area.
