Motorcar Studio is pleased to offer this very nice 1932 FordHighboy
Roadster formerly owned by Metallica frontman James Hetfield. A
properhotrod with the right components and built with an eye to
detail. Original andproperly titled '32 Ford Roadster chassis with
its original front cowl hooddoors and trunk.� Body tub is
replacedwith a Brookville body. Stunning dark blue metallic with
matching lined convertibletop over cream interior.�Mercury flathead
V8 is mated to a T5 overdrive (five-speed)transmission and Ford
9-inch rear end with limited slip. This setup makes greatpower and
sounds lovely with twin Strombergs Fenton headers and
Edlebrockheads. Giant Buick brakes are appropriate and coupled with
a Willwood masteroffer excellent stopping power. Generator body
houses a modern alternator andthe aluminum radiator with electric
fan keeps things cool. Four-link rear withcoil overs.�The
beautifully upholstered seat has been located furtherback mounted
on sliders and is heated. Finish quality is excellent throughoutand
the build shows as fresh and tasteful -- Stewart Warner gauges and
Guideheadlight buckets were intentionally left with some patina and
we dig it. Itwould be difficult to replicate this '32 for anywhere
