Overview:
Here is an absolutely amazing find. It?s an almost completely all
original 1966 Mustang GT coupe survivor. This car has 25K believed
to be original miles on it with mostly all original paint and
interior. The car was sold new in Phoenix, AZ and has spent it?s
whole life right here in Arizona. It has been same family owned
since 1978 when it was discovered in its current condition. The car
was pampered and stored in a climate controlled garage for 39
years. It is completely rust free with a perfect original body. The
car was ordered in the best colors and the best options for a
Mustang in 1966. It does show some patina on the original paint but
the car is very presentable and should be left the way it sits as
this a once in a lifetime find. This rare Mustang is eligible to be
judged in any survivor class and would be the only survivor GT at
any car show you take it to. The car has to be one of the last
true, survivor 65-66 Mustang GT's left in the world. Do not

Options/Equipment:
Exterior:
This Mustang almost completely original with what looks to be 95%
original paint, order from the factory in the best color of Candy
Apple Red. The paint shows some patina but is very presentable the
way it sits. We didn't touch up any of the chips or flaws in the
paints because its never been messed with in over 50 years and they
are only original once. This car has some much character that you
will never see again on restored cars today. The body is
completely, 100 percent rust free and super straight. The underside
is completely virgin and original with no undercoating. It has it's
original white GT stripes still in great shape. The original white
vinyl top is still in excellent condition and shows very well.
All the chrome and trim on the car shows beautifully for
being all original.
Interior:
The mostly all original parchment interior shows excellent with
very little wear at all. The front seat cover was the only thing
replaced on the interior just due to some seams splitting. It was
replaced with the OEM cover and we kept the original which comes
with the car to show how nice it was. We also have a new rear seat
cover that goes with the car but the original one is still very
nice. It even has its original carpeting and optional mustang floor
mats. The dash, gauge cluster and steering wheel all look near
mint. Pretty much very single thing and power option works on this
car except for the clock. Even the radio and 8-track works and
sounds great. Inside the trunk is clean and original with its
original styled steel spare and jack. All the original glass and
rubbers are great through out.
Mechanically:
The car runs and drives like a true, untouched 25k original mile
car should. It has ice-cold factory air conditioning that works
great. This car needs absolutely nothing mechanically and is ready
to drive and enjoy. Under the hood is all stock and original but
has been mildly detailed.
