Vehicle Description
1970 Pontiac GTO, one of 421 1970 GTO's built with Ram Air III
engine and auto. This is either the only one built or only one left
in existence in black with a bench interior. Car was a frame off
nut and bolt restoration. This car has new quarter panels, front
and rear valances. All other sheet metal is original to car.
Options are on PHS. Is not a numbers matching but correct. Correct
date coded YZ RA III, Block date coded - 4/13/70. #12 heads
matching date codes 4/22/70. Dist. # 1112009, Carburetor 7040270.
Original nodular 3:90 3 HD safety trac rear. 14 x 6 Rally II (JT)
code. Reproduction RA manifolds. Has PY GTO automatic transmission,
rebuilt to PD specs (2150 RPM stall) Comes with 6m PD tag (needs
stamping) Original RA pans and hood scoop inserts. Reproduction
4-core radiator. Dash is vinyl cap (have an original cap that can
be restored) Interior all new PUI (headliner, carpet, door panels,
1/4 panels, and seat covers.)
