No expense was spared on this beautiful Chevelle SS 396 that blends
old-school looks and modern-day performance. It's powered by a
396ci big-block engine with a brand-new Edelbrock performer
carburetor with a fuel pressure gauge. Buttery smooth shifts are
achieved through custom-geared, direct-from-Tremec T56 Magnum
6-speed manual transmission with Hurst shifter. A full
hydraulic-clutch setup was added to keep the new ceramic clutch
connected to its new SFI-rated fly wheel. The suspension can be
adjusted with just a few clicks of a knob from the custom-valved
Viking coilovers and struts suspending all four corners. Ride
height can be changed easily from a nice track-day forward rake or
to dead-level cruiser in just minutes. The Stage 5 UMI performance
suspension kit connects all the dots that keep this car planted and
straight through any turn. With a new convertible top, it exhibits
great paint quality with very few minor defects. The outstanding
factory leather interior features new rugs, Dynamat Xtreme
throughout, Retro Sound radio with Bluetooth, iPhone, aux connects
and pre-outs, Kicker speakers, and Auto Meter custom digital and
analog gauges. The raised center console creates an actual armrest
feel with great shifting posture. It's equipped with long tube
Hooker headers, straight-through mufflers, great chrome everywhere
and staggered wheels with new tires. More than $85,000 was invested
in parts and labor.
