1972 GMC pickup was purchased new and has stayed in the same family
since new. It is a long bed with a 350 CID V8 and a 3 speed
automatic so the drivetrain is pretty standard but whomever did the
restoration knew what they were doing. This truck drives like a
dream, shifts nicely and is a joy to drive. Especially considering
it has AC which if we're honest, we all want, power steering, and
power brakes. As far as the love part goes, the owner bought this
truck from his grandfather in 1995 and in 2003 sent it for a full
restoration. During the restoration they had a color matched
bedliner sprayed in, and covered the bed with a white painted
fiberglass tonneau cover. This has been a Dallas truck its entire
life and rust was not an issue. As soon as the restoration was
completed it hit the show circuit and has won quite a few shows.
