Vehicle Description
If you are looking for a cool vintage pickup, this 3100 may
certainly be the one. With bright paintwork, a luxurious A/C
interior, overdrive transmission, a powerful V8 under the hood, and
so much more... you get the best of everything.
Just one look and you can see a lot of work has gone into this
pickup. The red is a deep rich color that could have been on the
best '50s trucks. But the moment the sunlight hits it, you see the
dramatic difference that comes from the luster of a modern
clearcoat. The bumpers, badges, bezels, mirrors, and all other trim
compete with the paint as they shine like new mirrors. There is
even a bit of attitude added to this truck with an aggressive
stance resting on 15-inch Eagle Alloy wheels. But even with these
refreshed and upgraded items, the truck doesn't lose its original
personality. This model series was the beginning of the stylistic
wraparound windshields, and it's known for the extra flair in the
fenders (especially the rear). But even as beautiful as this
presentation is, the diamond plate bed and the large fuel storage
lockbox remind you that this classic pickup can still get to
work.
The tailored feel of this truck really is raised another notch just
by stepping inside. When you look closely at the black bench seat,
you realize it has a cool flame pattern stitched into it. Even the
door panels get the cool custom touch, too. This pickup comes with
all the right features like an upgraded AM/FM/CD stereo with an aux
input for modern music players, and there's ice-cold modern R134a
air conditioning. You'll slip behind the custom black and chrome
steering wheel with Chevy bow tie etched in the center, and grab
the matching shifter stalk. But even with all the upgrades, this
one still unmistakably feels very vintage. For example, the
original fan-style gauge cluster is a great piece to keep because
it has the same cool character that was being added to Chevy's
iconic 1955 passenger cars. But now it's joined by auxiliary
readouts to keep you in-tune with what's going in the engine
bay.
While there has been plenty invested in this classic pickup's
interior and exterior, we bet your favorite upgrade is under the
hood. This one has a great-looking 350 cubic-inch V8 that has
plenty of show-ready shine. But more than just look nice, this one
has been enhanced with go-fast goodies such as an Edelbrock
four-barrel carburetor, Edelbrock Performer RPM intake, Super Stock
wiring, and Headman Headers. This makes for a pickup that fires up
on command and offers a sweet rumble through the dual exhaust. This
is a total package pickup, and so it's more than just a power
machine. It has great driving features like the independent front
suspension w/thick sway bar, the power steering, front disc brakes,
and a new TH400 transmission.
This is a timeless classic design with highway-friendly upgrades.
That makes it the vintage pickup that you'll be as comfortable
taking to shows just as much as on the morning commute. With this
kind of versatility, you know it will be gone soon. Call
