This Trans Am was owned by Barry Westmoreland, co-author of the
book "Hells Bend". The car is featured in the book and is pictured
on the cover of the book. The book is also being made into a movie
featuring this car. It has undergone a complete nut-and-bolt
restoration to original specifications. Sparingly driven since
restoration. Powered by a 403ci engine with automatic transmission,
it's optioned with the WS6 performance package and G80
posi-traction rear axle. It's also equipped with power steering,
power disc brakes, air conditioning, new 8-track AM/FM radio and
new OEM floor mats. Other features include new Fischer bags for
storing the T-tops, new trunk display including the jack, spare
tire, inflation canister and other parts that came with the car
when new. An amazing car with historic provenance, it includes the
original Window Sticker and original Build Sheet from the Van Nuys,
CA, plant.
