This 1966 Ford Custom cab pick up is “custom” from the ground up. Power train starts with a 460 ci big block stroked to 557ci. assembled with dish pistons, Competition “Big Mother Thumper” cam, Aluminum heads, Wieand Stealth Manifold, 750 cfm carburetor, HEI distributor, high torque starter, custom air cleaner, accented with aluminum pulleys, brackets, radiator and valve covers. A new fuel tank and lines were installed. A brand new Hughes Turbo 400 automatic transmission, custom oversized driveline, a set of 3:55 posi-trac gears. A set of 18” and 22” Coy Custom wheels are covered with custom made Diamondback redline radial tires. Oversized 4 wheel disc brakes help stop this pick up. new fuel tank and all fluid lines are new. Front suspension has been converted to Mustang II rack and pinion, with upgraded springs to handle the big block motor. The truck still sits upon the original 1966 frame although it has been boxed for strength from front to rear. Custom fabricated steel floor pans have been installed to fit the body down almost 8” lower then stock. the cowl area has been filled, all drip rails removed, stake pockets filled, “FORD” emblemed removed from tailgate, front grill reworked, front parking lamps filled in, custom lamps installed into the grill, bumpers narrowed and painted and rear exhaust installed into the rear bumper. All original parts of the truck were professionally sandblasted, stripped, epoxy primed before painting. The bed of the truck is finished with high grade wood and polished stainless steel strips. All moldings are either new or professionally polished to better then new appearance. Truck was reassembled with stainless steel hardware. Inside the cab a new “ididit" steering column and custom wheel, all new glass, as well as new gauges, wiring harness, A/C and heater, black suede headliner, black carpet, burgandy leather bench seat, custom painted dash, door panels, new visors and door sills. The polished Sanderson headers expell the exhaust into a set of ceramic coated exhaust pipes and a set of Flowmaster mufflers
