This all-metal custom street rod is powered by a blown Chevy 327ci
engine producing over 500hp with automatic transmission. It has 114
miles since new and has been stored in a heated garage for the past
13 years after winning multiple first-place wins in California auto
shows. The impeccable body work and expertly applied paint coupled
with the attention to detail are the reasons this car stands out
and has won first place multiple times. Even the brand-new frame of
this car is glassy smooth with clear coat applied throughout, as is
the exterior finish. Provided is a three-page list of new
components used on this car, totaling approximately $42,000. The
list does not include the years of labor required to produce this
show-winner. First Place in Oakland Grand National Roadster Show,
First Place in Sacramento Autorama, Second Place in Portland Rod
and Custom Show and invitation to the 43rd Annual Fresno Autorama
show in 2002. This car was also shown in the October 2002 issue of
Street Rodder Magazine, Vol. 31 No. 10. This street rod was
designed and built by Joseph Romieti of Antioch, California.Joe has
built many award-winning cars on the West Coast and continues doing
the same today. In the case of this car he utilized the talents
Marcel's Custom Metal Coach Builders to fill in the metal top and
design and fabricate the integral sun visor. You will not find a
blemish or wave in the metal work or 2 stage PP paint anywhere on
this award-winning vehicle.
