L82 for purchase. America's bicentennial came a couple years after
government restrictions killed the big heav muscle cars. However,
with some weight reductions to the already nimble Corvette, the
stingray was able to maintain the bite other cars couldn't. Solid
L82 V8 performance paired with the lightweight stingrays and modern
comfort power everything (steering, brakes, etc) made these cars
the last muscle standing on America's 200th birthday.
The 1976 Chevrolet Corvette L82 4 speed offered here features a
numbers matching, original drivetrain, with suffix code CHC which
Denotes "L82" 210 HP application with 4 speed. This car has been in
the family since new and has had only 2 owners. Along with the sale
of this car comes the original sales sheet. The current owner has
owned it for the last 39 years. The white paint shows well over a
brown vinyl interior. The car comes with a chrome luggage rack,
T-Tops, factory security system, AM/FM radio, clock, air
conditioning and an upgraded Accel Super coil. The car remains in
largely stock condition and is in overall great condition. The car
rides on OEM slotted Aluminum wheels with accessory faux "Knock
off" hub covers added. The chassis was undercoated shortly after
purchase.
