International Scout II 4X4 for all to consider. This 3-owner Scout
was ordered highly optioned and sold new on November 10, 1972, by
International Harvester Co. Mt. Branch of Austin Texas. According
to the original line ticket, this Scout II featured almost $1900.00
dollars in factory options Including: Desirable 345 V8 engine
option, automatic transmission, skid plate kit, heavy duty rear
step bumper, front axle Lock-O-Matic Hub, 700D Int pwr, AM Radio,
Modulated Fan, TC 15 transfer case, #44 Spicer with traction lock
rear axle, fuel tank skid plate, driver and passenger seats, cargo
area mat, deluxe exterior trim, deluxe interior trim, full width
folding rear seat, air conditioner package, storage box and two
tone International standard colors. Since, this 1973 Scout II has
had just 3 owners, always been well kept and remained the majority
of its life in Texas. As a result, the truck retains an amazing
core structure and a recent selective restoration was performed on
this Scout. Today, the truck is outstanding in every way. It
features a repaint in its original, Frost Green Metallic, over two
tone Sage Green interior, tan seating and coordinating removable
hard top. The truck retains its original 345 V8, automatic
transmission and drive train, its original body panels and floors,
etc. The engine area has been kept completely original and shows
excellent, the frame has been cleaned and painted, and the floors
and inner rockers are excellent. Highlights included: Fully
removable hard top, new paint, new seat covers, new carpet, perfect
dash, original gauges, floor shifter, heavy duty front bumper with
7000lb jack, Rough Country mild suspension lift with Rough Country
shocks, Tuffy locking security console, factory AM radio in dash, a
carefully integrated JVC sound system with CD and USB interface
that sounds magnificent, Ion Alloy 16 inch wheels, etc. The factory
air conditioning is there including the condenser still mounted on
the truck, the under dash unit complete, lines are intact; the
factory air compressor is removed, but included in the sale.
Mechanically, this Scout II runs and drives fantastic in all
situations, the 4wd functions as it should and everything works.
