1972 Chevrolet Chevelle in Uncasville, Connecticut

Vehicle Description

This remarkable custom street machine underwent an extensive frame-off restoration. Completed in 2015, it has less than 600 miles since completion. Everything was restored or replaced. The body is very straight, with great gaps throughout. The beautiful color combination of blue with black stripes is total eye candy. The car sits on a brand-new set of Boze forged injected 18" and 19" wheels that are brushed with polished lines and rivets. The spectacular black leather interior has been customized, including the wrap-around dash, door panels, bucket seats, center console and rear deck tray. Some interior features include an LED dome light, Auto Meter gauges, tilt steering column, Billet Specialties steering wheel and pedals, billet hardware, Vintage Air, power windows and Pioneer sound system. The trunk compartment was also customized to match the interior, and the panels are removable to access the Optima battery with separate charging posts. The highly detailed engine compartment is home to the well-known and respected GM ZZ572R engine with 720hp. Some engine compartment features include a painted firewall, billet hinges, New Port Engineering wiper motor, Vintage Air Front Runner pulley system, chrome air cleaner with K&N air filter, Holley 1100 cfm carb, MSD ignition, CVR high-performance starter, high-volume fuel pump and a modern power-steering pump. The engine is cooled by a Performance aluminum radiator with dual electric fans. It breathes through Hedman ceramic headers and a Flowmaster exhaust system. The engine is coupled to a TCI 4L80E automatic transmission with transmission cooler. The power is transferred to the pavement through the 12-bolt rear end with 3.73 gears. A nicely detailed undercarriage features a G-Force cross member and all-new suspension, including sway bars, hardware, bushings, shocks and BMR red 2" lowering springs. The braking system consists of a chrome brake booster, vacuum-pump canister, Wilwood master cylinder and Wilwood 4-wheel disc brakes with drilled and slotted rotors. This car has recently been completely serviced and detailed, which is fully documented with an invoice. From the MS Classic Cars Collection.
