Vehicle Description
This CSX 4092 is not a generic Cobra, it's an early-number example
- which ensures it's true to its older sibling's original shape and
design. The power plant is an all-alloy 427ci with a dual-quad
tunnel wedge intake and Holley carburetors, covered with correct
Stelling air cleaners. The Tremec 5-speed manual transmission
features a reverse shifter. The SC body is finished in Elliot Red
with Wimbledon White stripes. The interior features leather seats
on original seat tracks. The 4092 is the result of master craftsman
Bill Andrews of HRE Motor Cars, who is the industry standard. AP
acing brakes up front haul this dyno-proven 545hp beast down.
Goodyear billboards tucked in the wheel wells on Halibrand-style
aluminum pin-drive wheels give this car the perfect look, ride and
grip. Hundreds of hours went into the body to match the fit and
feel of the original alloy skin. This car has been bonded, riveted,
insulated, scaled and aligned to insure its performance is nothing
short of breathtaking. A true work of art and an appreciating piece
of automotive history.
