For Sale at Auction: 1934 Ford Custom in Uncasville, Connecticut

Vehicle Description

This East-Coast-style traditional hot rod known as "The Real Deal" was restored like it was back in the 1950s by well-known Nick Brazell and Hell's Gate Hot Rods. It has won Goodguys Award of Excellence and Coolest Traditional awards. This was an extensive nut-and-bolt restoration. The original all-steel cab was chopped 4" and the original steel bed was shortened 12". It's equipped with a fiberglass rear tailgate. The custom satin black paint is remarkable. Some custom exterior features include all-new tinted glass, 1938 Ford front grille, 1930 Ford spare tire covers for front fenders, 1951 Kenworth truck headlights, 1941 Plymouth taillights and Studebaker wheels with Coker whitewall tires. Extra rear slick tires are also included. The interior was wrapped in Dynamat insulation. The custom red leather with black piping interior is beautiful. Some custom interior features include a dome light, switches, Dolphin instruments, knobs, pushbutton start, hot-rod steering column, removable splined steering wheel, Lokar shifter, pedals, hidden storage compartment and custom sound system. The highly detailed engine compartment is home to the rebuilt famous Buick 401ci Nailhead V8 engine. With many upgrades, engine was dressed to match the color theme. The engine runs great and is cooled by a custom-built radiator. It sounds amazing out the ceramic headers featuring cut-outs and side exhaust system. The engine is coupled to a GM Turbo 400 automatic transmission and new Currie Ford 9" posi-traction rear end with 3.50 gears. The undercarriage is also highly detailed with many upgrades. It has an SAC custom chassis painted high-gloss black. The front suspension has a hairpin radius rods setup, and a 4" drop and drilled Magnum front beam axle with shocks. The rear suspension has a red triangulated radius rods setup and Aladdin aluminum adjustable coilover shocks. The braking consists of a power brake booster and master cylinder, which is mounted underneath. This truck has recently been completely serviced and detailed, which is fully documented with invoice. From the MS Classic Cars Collection.
