For Sale at Auction: 1972 Chevrolet C/K 10 in Uncasville, Connecticut

Vehicle Description

This C10 has it going on. It was recently professionally restored and is loaded with many custom features. The very nice clean look was created by smoothing the wiper cowl, stake pockets and deleted mirrors. The paint is show-quality and ocean-deep. The color combination of dark-blue metallic and gray metallic with custom air brushing on the rear bed is truly remarkable. The door glass is a one-piece conversion. Some exterior features include all-new tinted glass, modern headlights, GSI billet door handles, billet gas cap, keyless remote door locks with Viper alarm and side-exhaust cutouts with aluminum trim on the lower rockers. The truck sits on custom 20" Pro Wheels that match the exterior. The rear bed is completely finished and highly detailed with dark-stained wood, matching painted air tank and two air compressors. The custom Relicate brown leather interior is beautiful. Some interior features include a billet rearview mirror, LED dome light and under-dash lights, custom dash bezel, Auto Meter gauges, Billet Specialties steering wheel, Clayton Machine door handles and window cranks, billet pedals, chrome door sills, custom console, custom carpeting and custom sound system. The engine compartment is nicely detailed with a lot of custom-fabrication work. The underside of the hood, firewall, inner fenders and radiator support was all fabricated with circles and painted gray to match the exterior. The heart of this truck is a new Blue Print 383/430hp stroker engine. Some engine compartment features include a custom matching air cleaner, Quick Fuel 750 cfm carburetor, polished intake, aluminum heads, black Chevrolet valve covers, March pulleys, MDS ignition system and polished alternator. The engine is cooled by a Be Cool aluminum radiator with electric fan. The engine breathes out Sanderson headers and custom side exhaust system with Black Widow polished mufflers. This truck runs and sounds awesome. The engine is coupled to a built Turbo 350 automatic transmission with mild-shift kit. The power is transferred to the pavement through the 12-bolt rear end with Eaton posi-traction, Moser axles, LPW differential cover and 3.73 gears. The undercarriage is very clean and presentable. The suspension system consists of MMW control arms, front and rear sway bars and RideTech air ride with QA1 shocks at all four corners. It's equipped with a CPP transmission cross member and trailering arm that was lowered to cross member. It's equipped with a Wilwood power braking system, including an 8" black booster, master cylinder, 10" and 12" drilled and slotted rotors with red calipers. This truck has recently been completely serviced and detailed, which is fully documented with an invoice. From the MS Classic Cars Collection.
