This Shelby GT 500 was created with, allocated directly and signed
by Eleanor Clay Ford herself. This one-of-a-kind Shelby was ordered
through Eleanor Ford's personal plan through Ford Motor Company and
direct-delivered by private carrier. Carte blanche design freedom
was given with the Shelby team at Ford, where the red appearance
package was selected. The red-appearance-package Shelbys were
produced in the last 30 days of production for VIPs only. During
the ordering process, a first-right-of-refusal waiver was signed
through Ford stating that if the car was sold inside two years,
Ford had the first option to buy it back. This is the only car
allocated and signed by Eleanor Clay Ford as well as signed by
Carroll Shelby. With 4,000 actual miles, it's powered by a
5.4-liter engine with 6-speed manual transmission.
