Vehicle Description
1970 Camaro SS Retro-Clone #2263
The second-generation Camaro was produced from 1970 to 1981. It was
longer, lower and wider than the first-generation and utilized a
redesigned A-arm/coil spring front suspension along with rear leaf
springs to improve both handling and ride comfort. This fully
restored 1970 Camaro is a nice SS retro-clone. A new coat Vivid
Blue Metallic was professionally applied in 2014 and the Z-28
stripes, raised hood, front air dam and rear deck spoiler provide
nice accents. The coupe has a great stance on factory Z-28 wheels.
A custom black/silver vinyl interior looks more at home in this car
than the original. Comfort and performance features include: A/C,
power steering, power disc/drum brakes, tinted windows, a Hurst
Competition shifter and an AM/FM/CD stereo. Horsepower is provided
by a built 350ci small-block that is housed in a detailed engine
compartment. The high-rise aluminum intake holds a double-pumper
Holley. An MSD ignition brings the fire and the motor exhales
through full-tube headers and a free-flowing exhaust that sounds
awesome. Torque is delivered through a 5-speed T-5 Borg-Warner
manual transmission and a GM differential with good street gearing.
Hang on tight - this retro Camaro is an extraordinary driving
