Vehicle Description
Fully restored, this F-100 hasn't been significantly modified or
hot-rodded. The restoration was intended to match its original
specifications with some improvements for drivability and
enjoyment. The underside and cab interior have been Rhino-lined for
durability. The complete restoration included the following new
components: brakes, springs, bearings, radiator, tires, exhaust,
muffler, chrome bumpers, mirrors, weatherstripping, glass, gauges,
fuel tank, wiring, interior, oak bed, lights and heater. All brake,
fuel and vacuum lines are also new. It's powered by a rebuilt 1956
Ford 292ci V8 Y-block engine with 2-barrel manual choke carburetor.
It runs very strong and looks great with fresh black paint and
powder-coated intake, exhaust manifold and exhaust system. It's
equipped with a 3-speed manual transmission with a column shifter
that shifts smooth through all its gears. It's been driven lightly
since the rebuild. Stunningly finished in Ford Torch Red with
black/gray interior, the beautiful oak-wood bed was clear-coated
for a beautiful finish. Power steering and front and rear sway bars
significantly enhance ease of drivability without detracting from
its originality. It was also upgraded to a more reliable 12-volt
electrical system. The turn signals and hazards were wired into the
existing parking lights. It features a radio/CD player hidden in
the glove compartment.
