Vehicle Description
This turn-key speedster re-creation was hand-built and
professionally assembled. It has only break-in miles since the
build, so it is effectively brand-new. Powered by a
high-performance 1915cc twin carburetor 44mm 110 cam engine, it's
equipped with a 3.88 manual high-ratio 4-speed transmission with
highway gearing known as the "freeway flyer." Both the transmission
and engine are rebuilt and brand-new. Front disc brakes provide
quick and reliable stopping power. It has dual exhaust with a great
throaty rumble. Painted in the period-correct and now show-quality
Porsche Ivory, the Cognac interior has all the correct
speedster-styled trim and accessories. Additional interior features
include Cocomats for a vintage look and feel, Porsche horn button
and correct banjo steering wheel, billet-type pedals, short-throw
shifter, bucket seats with the proper look and feel, period-correct
German-style gauges (speedometer in kilometers, tachometer, engine
temp and fuel) and trunk carpet. It comes complete with a fold-away
light-brown soft-top and side window curtains, with a tonneau cover
for the soft-top. Exterior features include period-correct
Porsche-style hubcaps and emblems, exterior Reuter badging, sport
mirror, German grille badging and bumper guards. The suspension has
been tuned to provide a driving experience that accurately
duplicates that of the original Speedsters. It is simply a pleasure
to drive. This outstanding 356 speedster handles beautifully,
shifts smooth, sounds great and has fantastic acceleration.
