creating a much larger and more muscular sports car. The car's
initial redesign was a massive success and considered a great
improvement over the previous year Mustang. Then Ford handed over
the newly redesigned model to the hands of famous chicken
farmer/race car driver Carroll Shelby, and the 1967 Shelby GT350
was born. With its added air scoops, unique front grill, two center
7inch driving lamps, exaggerated front nose cone, and fiberglass
hood the new Shelby GT-350 was more muscular than all previous
models. The new Shelby GT350 came standard with the Hi-Po 289 cubic
inch V8 producing 306hp backed by either a 4-speed manual or C4
automatic. This 1967 Shelby GT-350 factory 4speed car was sold at
JD Ball Ford in Miami, Florida for the dealer invoice cost of
$3,828.46. It was built on March 14 th ,1967 at the plant in San
Jose, California with the following options: Extra Cooling Package,
Courtesy Light Group, Special Tires Supplied by Shelby, Fold Down
Rear Seat, Power Steering, Power Front Disc Brakes, Interior Dcor
Group, Heavy Duty Battery, Tachometer and Trip Odometer. The car

of the very popular Mustang Monthly magazine. Finished in Ford
Candy Apple Red and complimented nicely by the factory original
black deluxe interior, a stunning color combination. This car also
includes full documentation including letter from SAAC, Deluxe
Marti Report, and receipts from the restoration. It is of course
listed in the Shelby American World Registry. These cars offer
stellar performance and the menacing looks synonymous with the
Shelby brand. This 1967 Shelby GT350 is one of the most iconic
Mustang's ever produced and will always be desirable to any
collector or enthusiast. Don't miss this opportunity to add a
