Vehicle Description
Take some time to check out all the custom details of this 1972
Chevrolet C10 Cheyenne Super. But don't linger too long, because
with the nice paint, custom interior, and modern fuel-injected V8
under the hood, this truck will be hauling out soon.
Dare we call this color Hugger Orange? It certainly looks the part
with it bold and bright presentation that comes from a serious
investment in making the panels laser straight and then getting a
professional hand to apply the orange. And quite frankly, this
truck deserves to be in the same league as Chevy's muscle cars.
This aggressive attitude is highlighted even further by custom
elements like the cowl hood, lowered suspension, and 17-inch Foose
alloy wheels. But at its heart, this C10 never loses its vintage
pickup sensibilities. You see it in areas like the roof that gives
this a classic a two-tone flair. Because this is a Cheyenne Super,
it comes with some extra body chrome, including the upper and lower
body side accents. In fact, the lower one still wears its
factory-correct 70s-cool wood strip within the brightwork. This is
a nice paring with the real wood truck bed.
Inside the custom feeling continues with a split bench borrowed
from a later model Chevy truck. This modern seat gives you
excellent bolstering for all day comfort. Plus, you have the option
to sit three across, or fold down the middle for individual
comfort. You get a nice wood and chrome sports steering wheel, and
beyond that is a full set of Dolphin gauges. It's set into a custom
alloy panel that matches one on the glovebox, and they both
coordinate nicely with the Lokar shifter for a total uniform
appearance. This pickup is about offering plenty of upgrades within
its vintage appeal. So, you'll be happy to have modern components
like the AM/FM/CD/XM capable stereo and ice-cold R134a air
conditioning.
While there are plenty of interesting custom components on the
interior and exterior that will draw a crowd, we're willing to bet
the engine bay is what really brings them all to you. That's a late
model 6.0-liter Vortec V8. It's the kind of OHV multi-port
fuel-injected motor that powers some of your favorite more modern
GM trucks and SUVs. It's even related to some of your favorite
modern performance machines like the LS powered Camaro and
Corvette. What that means in practical terms is a vintage truck
that fires up easily, idles smoothly, and has one of the best
powerbands you'll ever experience. In fact, this one is also all
about the sounds. You can either enjoy the rumble that comes from
the header-fed dual exhaust, or play with the old-fashion "Ooga!"
horn. Plus, the 4L60E four-speed automatic transmission w/overdrive
has been installed, too. That means this C10 feels like it's always
in the ideal gear whether you're in the passing lane or cruising
down the highway. The long-haul likeability in this classic is
further enhanced by a nice upgrade to four-wheel disc brakes. Add
in power steering, sway bars front & rear, Falken Ziex tires, and
the trailing arm rear suspension that made these C10s famously easy
riders, and you've got a total package that's truly a superior
Chevy pickup.
This truck has a real aura of authority at first glance, and
provides true comfort and power from behind the wheel. It's the C10
that leaves you wanting for nothing, and it leaves everyone else in
your wake. Call now!!
