Chevrolet Chevelle SS. The 1968 Chevelle was the beginning of a new
body style where the front fenders received a new tapered look as
well as a rounded beltline. The Chevelle needs no introduction and
has become one of the most iconic muscle cars of the last several
decades. This 138 VIN Chevelle is a real SS from the factory & has
a 396 CID V8 with Moroso valve covers and Edlebrock performance 2.0
intake manifold. The engine runs very healthy & strong throughout
the powerband. It also features 4into1 long tube performance
headers that connect to a full 2.5-inch SS true dual exhaust that
gives this beauty the roar she deserves. It is paired to a 3-speed
automatic transmission that shifts smoothly and firm. It has a
12-bolt rear diff & spins 3.73 gears in it making the car more
street able. This beautiful ride has a nicely done black paint job
the goes well with the black Retro wheels. The high black gloss on
the car shows very well and is our favorite color on Chevelles. The
bumpers, trim, emblem, glass, & grill are in fantastic condition.
The car sits on a set of 15-inch retro wheels that are wrapped in
hercules H/P 4000 tires that are in like new condition so, don't be
afraid to go out for a nice weekend drive with your friends. You'll
see the disc brake upgrade on the front wheels of the car to give
the car the stopping it needs with that big block up front. The
black leather interior is in great shape, along with the door
panels and head liner. The gauges have been left original aside
from the small addition of the Equus oil pressure and temperature
gauge. The dash is crack free and does not rattle in the car. The
carpet is free from any tears or discoloration. Some additional
features include vinyl interior, power steering, power brakes, seat
