We all know that the Corvette name carries a special place in car
world for so many and has been the model of cutting edge design for
the automotive industry for decades. And arguably the C-3 design
when it came out was truly was ahead of its time with its radically
shaped fenders, front end and gill-like front fenders that
resembled a Mako Shark. Also new was the completely re-designed
interior that featured a multiple gauge cluster in the center and
large round dials in front of the driver for the speedometer and
matching tachometer. And another first was a fiber-optic system
that monitored exterior lights.

the 1971 Chevrolet Corvette LT-1 for your consideration. This
vehicle has only had one single owner its entire life, hosts what
is believed to be the original powertrain, has not had any major
repairs to the body and has been maintained exceptionally well
since new! There are so few of these that have not been "souped up"
or altered in major ways which makes this a real rarity and perfect
for the purists or collectors. From the factory this came with the
4-Speed close ratio manual transmission, AM/FM radio, tilt and
telescopic steering wheel, t-tops, heater, power steering, power
windows and power brakes. Along with the vehicle, the owner has
kept wonderful records of normal service and also extra manuals and
paperwork, including the original Protect-O-Plate. More often than
not these vehicles end up giving way to age and finding one that
has had this amount of work completed to them is a real testament
to the popularity of the "Mako Shark" design. This one is as real
