Our Atlanta Showroom is very proud to present this 1962 tuxedo
black 1962 Chevrolet Corvette fuel injected "fuelie". It would have
cost you, but in 1962 you could add options like fuel injection and
a 327 cubic inch engine to your Corvette to turn it into a serious
performance machine. In that day, few cars that weren't big sedans
put out anything like this Corvette's 360 horsepower. The 1962
Corvette looked cleaner with the subtraction of some chrome and the
deletion of the two-tone paint option. The Chevrolet 283 cu in
(4.64 L) Small-Block was enlarged to 327 cu in (5.36 L). In
standard form, it produced 250bhp. For an extra 12% over list
price, the fuel-injected version produced 360bhp, making it the
fastest of the C1 generation. 62 was also the last year for the
wrap around windshield, solid rear axle, and convertible-only body
style. The trunk lid and exposed headlamps did not reappear for
many decade. The most desired option was the 327 V8 "fuelie" rated
at 360hp and you were king of the street with this king of
Corvettes. NCRS has confirmed the production date and dealer
delivery of this VIN. This historic car had a full frame off
restoration in 2013 and fresh chrome with restoration
documentation. As Ferris Buller once said, "if you have the means,
I highly recommend acquiring one". Tuxedo Black, red interior, fuel
injected 62 corvette...this is the car people only dream of owning
and just to see the car in is a rare treat. To own this car would
set a standard for you as a car owner or collector. Here is your
chance to own a restored and 62 in the colors that make your heart
skip a beat. Options include: Hard Top and radio. To view the car
