January 2013 North American International Auto Show in Detroit, the
much-anticipated �C7' or seventh-generation Chevrolet Corvette
Stingray was an all-new design and represents the ultimate in
Corvette performance development. Powered by the latest Chevrolet
engine bearing the hallowed �LT1' designation, the new Stingray's
all-aluminum, LS-derived V-8 engine in concert with a rev-matching
7-speed manual transmission has an undeniably wonderful balance.
The new Stingray's stunning performance figures include 0-60
acceleration in less than 4 seconds and incredible handling with an
aluminum frame structure and cutting-edge features including active
handling, traction control, massive disc brakes, and much more. For
truly committed drivers, the track-capable Z51 performance package
took the new Corvette's performance to an even higher level,
utilizing the actual technologies developed for Corvette
Racing./p\r\np /p\r\npFeatured at the 2016 SEMA show in Las Vegas,
this 2014 Corvette Stingray Z51 was formerly used at the Bondurant
School of Racing, and autographed by Bob Bondurant, the famed 1960s
Corvette Grand Sport driver and champion Shelby Cobra pilot. The
Stingray's interior is equally impressive, sporting the top-level
3LT appointments, Factory Racing Seats, and professionally painted
interior details to match the Custom exterior paint. The already
striking body of the Stingray's body was elevated with a custom
wide body conversion including Z06 front fenders and widened rear
quarter panels measuring an additional 2.5 inches./p\r\np
/p\r\npThe Stingray's LT1 engine was also massaged, with the
addition of a Magnuson supercharger, Borla 1 7/8-inch headers, a
3-inch catless X-pipe, and Magnaflow exhaust system. Output is
outstanding, with 506 horsepower and 509 pounds-feet of torque -
both measured at the rear wheels! To harness the newfound power,
aerodynamic upgrades include a Raceprep aerokit with functional
chassis-mounted front splitter, rear diffuser, and rear wing. In
addition, over 6,000 has been spent on the Stingray's carbon-fiber
vents, mirrors, taillight bezels, splitter, side skirts, and wing.
Topping off this stunning C7 Corvette Stingray is a Custom Pearl
White paint job with ghost C7 Corvette flags, plus pin stripe
accents along the hood, roof, and rear deck lid. Lowered using
Pfadt Racing parts, this ex-Bondurant Racing School 2014 Chevrolet
Corvette Z51/3LT rides on a set of ceramic-coated Shocker Yellow
20-inch Rohana wheels mounting Toyo Proxes ultra-performance tires
