on this 1965 Ford Mustang Pace Car include: AM/FM Radio, Padded
Visors, Back up Lights, Power Steering, Seat Belts, Vinyl Interior
and Bias Ply Tires. Here we have one of the 180 hardtop Ford
Mustang Pace Cars that were produced in April 1964! The hardtops
were produced for the Checkered and Green Flag contests, which were
dealer incentives designed to both promote the new Mustang and
indicate the Mustang's status as the official Indy 500 pace car for
1964. The car is pristine, well documented and maintained. This an
amazing classic sports car ready for car meets or the open road.
The Mustang is optioned with 260 cubic-inch 2 valve V8 engine
backed by a Cruisomatic transmission. The car had a frame-off
restoration done that was completed about 5 miles ago. The Pace Car
White exterior (color code C) and blue/white interior (trim code
42) along with the Indianapolis 500 lettering on the side gives
this classic sports car a real nostalgic look. The car is
