Gateway Classic Cars of Tampa is proud to offer this awesome 1957
Ford Thunderbird. The Thunderbird was Ford's direct response to the
Chevrolet Corvette and underwent a rapid development process so it
could ultimately be unveiled to the public at the Detroit Auto Show
in February of 1954. The Thunderbird was then revised for 1957 with
a reshaped front bumper, a larger grille and tailfins, and larger
tail lamps. The instrument panel was heavily re-styled with round
gauges in a single pod, and the rear of the car was lengthened,
allowing the spare tire to be positioned back in the trunk. The 312
cu in V8 became the Thunderbird's standard engine, and now produced
245 horsepower. The shape of this car is undeniably 50's and
probably one of the most beautiful cars of its time. This Black '57
Thunderbird is no exception! This car comes with all the loaded
features - Kesley Hayes wired wheels, a/c both the hard top without
the porthole & soft-top, Town & Country radio, Syncromesh 3-Speed
transmission. The engine was already rebuilt back in the 60's and
repainted during the 70's. She run's and drives outstanding! To see
