5565126 is finished in striking and very rarely seen 1977-1979
Amazonitgrn-Metallic (amazonite green) paint over Farngrn (fern
green) leather upholstery. Already desirably optioned from the
factory, this particular 633 then received cosmetic add-ons very
early in life by Alpina, including the front and rear spoilers,
steering wheel (momo for Alpina), shift knob, wheels and tires -
with accompanying German Federal Motor Vehicle Transport Authority
approval documentation for all upgraded equipment installed. We
have had the original paperwork professionally translated for the
next caretaker. The car received its last German Motor Vehicle
Traffic Inspection on July 7, 1984 shortly before its journey
overseas to Ashville, North Carolina into the hands of Mr. Brenke.
From October 1984 at approximately 85,000 kilometers - onward for
the next 20 years, Mr. Brenke meticulously documented every single
fuel fill up and service the car received in a small memo book
found in the glove compartment.
Attesting to years of fastidious care, the car has remained in
remarkably original preserved condition, despite the mileage
clocked. Certainly the finest example we have ever witnessed. Upon
close inspection and paint meter readings we believe this 633
retains at least 90% + original paint and upholstery, as well as
BMW etched glass, trim and accessories. The cabin looks as if it
has seen little use in areas outside the driver's partition, with
working sunroof, clock, gauges, Becker Bavaria Cassette radio and
electronics. The dashboard and vents are free of cracks, with an
original tube of touch up and emergency light also stowed away in
the glove compartment. The remainder of the vehicle reflects the
same untouched appearances, with clean and crisp original decals,
plaques and finishes throughout the engine bay to an incredibly
solid and corrosion-free undercarriage. Engine compression is solid
across the head, ranging from 180-200 psi. A new old stock exhaust
system comes with the car, but there is no immediate need to
install it. Its luggage compartment contains an working light,
complete tool kit, jack, tire iron, triangle and emergency
accessories. The spare tire has likely never been used and fitted
with its original date matched Michelin XDX tire.
Additionally, all original books are paired with this 633 CSi,
including the Operating Manual, BMW European Emergency Service
Book, BMW Bavaria Radio manual, unopened Becker antenna wipes with
instructions and 633CSi dealer brochure. Now available for
worldwide purchase and delivery, here is likely one of the finest
preserved and ideally optioned 633's to ever enter the market.
