Vehicle Description
This is a true, 1967 Chevelle Super Sport. Originally powered by a
396 V8 but now has a built, 427 Chevy Big Block under the hood.
Performance parts include dome race pistons, Edelbrock Performer
dual plane aluminum intake manifold, Comp Cams, Crane Cams rocker
arms, Holley mechanical fuel pump, Holley 4779-750cfm double pump
carb, MSD ignition, coil, distributor and wires. Ceramic-coated
headers flow into the all stainless steel exhaust, 40 series
Flowmasters and H tube and sound amazing!! An M-22 Rockcrusher has
been fully rebuilt and stirs the gears nicely with a Hurst
Competition/Plus Shifter and a Hays strip/street clutch and a 12
bolt, 3.73 posi in the rear. The body panels are original and have
approximately 70,000 miles on them and about 15,000 miles on the
rebuild of the drive train, so all of the bugs have been worked
out. The original panels were stripped to metal and re-sprayed in a
very nice Chrysler Blue with a hint of metal flake. The black
buckets and carpet were replaced about 10 years ago and show very
little wear. An AutoMeter tach was mounted to the steering column,
along with an oil pressure gauge under the dash. An aftermarket
stereo with iPod hookup was installed, along with a security system
with power door locks. Underneath the Chevelle is a 1 1/4 inch
front sway bar, poly-graphite body and suspension bushing kit, KYB
race/street front shocks, 200 PSI Air shocks in the rear with
ladder bars on the rear axle. 15x7 front and 15x10 rear Cragar SS
rims and BF Goodrich tires. This is a very nice car that runs,
drive, looks and sounds great. You will not be disappointed. Come
