Vehicle Description
Stk. 2257 194 Plymouth Barracuda 360
Chrysler introduced the 3rd generation Barracuda in 1970. The
all-new model, styled by John Herlit, was built on a shorter, wider
version of Chrysler's existing B platform called the E-Body. This
1974 coupe began life as a 360/4-speed Carolina car and has
carefully morphed into a retro-AAR 'Cuda clone. It experienced a
total rotisserie restoration in 2016. The car was rust-free and all
of the body panels are original (except rear rocker panel needed
for dual exhaust exits). The Petty Blue respray is stunning,
accented with AAR-style stripping/hood and '70 bumpers. Polished
17x8 Magnum alloys mount performance radials. The entire drivetrain
has been refreshed and upgraded. The new 360ci crate motor is rated
at 390bhp and is fitted with a tri-power Holley intake set-up
(new), coated tube headers and 2-1/2" stainless exhaust. An
aluminum radiator, electric fans and a March Performance serpentine
pulley system handle cooling. The fuel pump, all fuel lines and gas
tank are new. The 4-speed transmission was totally rebuilt and the
factory Dana differential has new bearings and seals. Hotchkis
Sport Suspension upgrades include front tubular control arms and
front/rear sway bars. Braking is power-assisted 4-wheel discs with
new lines. A complete new interior was installed with upgrades
including Vintage Air A/C, AutoMeter gauges, tinted glass and a Ken
Harrison AM/FM/Cassette stereo. The IDIDT steering incorporates a
tilt wheel. This is a very unique retro 'Cuda - just grab the
'pistol shifter' and hang on. Call 800-650-1055 or visit our
