black 1971 Pontiac LeMans Sport Convertible. This is a great car
that they did not make many of. Out of the over 500,000 cars that
were made in 1971 only 3865 sport convertibles were made and there
probably are not that many left around. This one is in great shape.
It has had one color change. The car was born silver with black
interior and now it is a triple black beauty. The paint as you can
see shines up very well. This is a very sexy color combo in a very
affordable convertible.
As you will see in the pics the vinyl on the bucket seats are in
great shape as is the carpet, dash, and center console. This is a
very clean interior that needs nothing other than to get in it and
go for a cruise. As you will see in the pics, we do not hide the
fact that there is an old repair to a rip in the top on the
passenger side. We have the car priced accordingly for this. This
is the only thing on the car that needs done and we can get you a
quote for a new top if you would wish.
Under the hood sits the original 350 2 barrel it was born with.
This motor put out 250 HP which wasn't the most of the day
obviously. At this stage, this car was about looking good with a
lot of style and not ripping up the drag strip with 500+
horsepower. This 350 is mated to its original tranny and rear end
and everything runs beautifully. This is a very solid car that you
could enjoy for years to come. So, slide in that drivers seat, drop
that top, and hit that key and go cruise the boulevard with your
favorite someone and go relive the good old days.
