his is a true Garage Find. This car was restored in the early eighties and used only as an occasional weekend day driver until I parked it in the early nineties. It's been non-op and covered in a garage since 1997. DMV paperwork available. It's a 49 year old car that has been stored for at least twenty five of those years.
All original with the exception of the engine (currently a 350) and the stereo. The original radio comes with the car for a quick swap out. Lots of factory options in addition to the RS/SS items. Under hood light, ash tray light, glove box lights, high speed warning spedomoter, tilt steering column, wood grain steering wheel, rear window defogger, interior controlled drivers side mirror with deluxe interior trim piece. The mirror was discontinued during production that year and there was some debate whether any were installed by factory yet this car has one. Interior is in excellent shape. I can't guarantee the milage yet when you see the interior you will agree it doesn't have 180,000 miles on it so you can be the judge. I had replaced or refinished all of the chrome and there is no rust or issues anywhere to be seen. One of the center console gauges didn't work when I parked it (I can't even remember which one). Otherwise the car was in great running condition when I drove it into the garage the last time.
It hasn't started in over 15 years so the engine and all rubber will need a once over. I am selling as is before getting it running so I don't invest money into items you would want to swap out.
The body and overall condition of this car exceptionally clean. The pictures give you an idea. Seeing it in person will impress you.
I am asking the price shown knowing you will need to put a little money into it to get it running yet it is very worth it as clean RS/SS Camaro's go from 35k to 45k very eaisly.
Not looking to swap anything or to make a quick sale. Looking for a serious buyer that wants an exceptional car.
Selling it as i'm getting into track driving and this is definitely not a donor car for the track. How many cars can you own anyway?
