UPDATE: Just drove the car 1200 miles roundtrip to florida and back without a hitch. Averaged 24mpg and 175 degrees on the highway. 60mph @ 2000 RPM in 4th gear and 80mph @ 2000 RPM in 5th gear. Very reliable and clean running mustang.

  • DRIVETRAIN - 302 V8, Hydraulic roller cam, Edelbrock aluminum intake, Holley carburetor, Headers, Electronic ignition, Dual Flowmasters, and Ford 302 valve covers. Engine is mated to a Tremec 5-Speed manual transmission with Hurst shifter. Door tag has this rear end at 3.50:1 non-posi from factory.
  • PAINT & BODY - Show level Paint is easy 8 out of 10. Gorgeous Silver Smoke Gray restored about 6 years ago. Base coat clear coat. Body lines are very straight with no waviness, orange peel, or chips. Engine bay was also painted the color of the car but not cleared. Car overall exhibits very smooth clear coat, high gloss, and very good depth and clarity of color.
  • FLOOR PANS - floor and trunk pans are solid all the way around.
  • INTERIOR - Interior is in mint condition  with new front windshield allowing for a replacement of the headliner recently. I installed brand new carpet and floor mats within the last year as well as handles and window cranks. Both bucket seats and rear seat are in pristine condition. No rips, tears, or shrinking. All windows have new regulator wheels and glide up and down smoothly. Dash cluster fits all new custom guages that ALL work (fuel, tach, speedo, oil, temp, volt). Has nice working retrosound radio with auxillary port and good speakers for better than stock sound. Has the rare factory console in very good condition with working lights.
  • CHROME AND STAINLESS - Has all new chrome around the car including badges, lettering, and front and rear bumper (and guards). Stainless in good condition. No pitting or rusting.
  • WHEELS AND TIRES - has brand new American Racing torque thrust wheels that fit the profile of this car perfectly and tires that are about 9/32 tread. For as little as the car gets used, a lot of tread to go.
  • BRAKES AND SUSPENSION - 4 wheel drum-brakes and suspension are in good working order. No imminent repairs are due. Front and rear shocks (rear air) have been replaced recently.
  • Clear Florida Title - no liens
  • VIN is 5T07T172037
  • Door Tag Decode is Body 65A=1965 2 door hardtop, standard interior, Color K=Silver smoke gray, Trim 26=Black vinyl, standard interior, Date 16T=June 16, 1965, DSO 21=Atlanta, Axle 5=3.50:1 Conventional, Transmission 1=3 speed manual.
