Vehicle Description
The Porsche 911 series 993 were built from 1995 thru 1998, and are
the last of the air-cooled 911's. The Carrera S (C2S) built only
from 1997 thru 1998 is the most highly sought after version of the
Porsche 993. With the Turbo factory wide body and the Carrera's
normally aspirated engine the C2S was a pure sports car without the
complication and weight of turbocharging and all-wheel drive. The
driving experience is second to none, with great torque, lighter
weight, and Turbo handling lending itself to amazing drivability.
Only 759 C2Ss were sold in the US in 1997 making this a very rare
late model Porsche.
This example was first sold on April 21st 1997 in Birmingham,
Michigan. Since that date this Porsche Exclusive-Programme ordered
car has only accumulated 11,787 documented miles. Now at Canepa
this original car has been mechanically and cosmetically inspected,
and has received a complete concours detail.
This rare C2S comes with its original books, jack, tools, spare and
compressor. Whether to be kept as a future collectable, or to be
enjoyed as a daily driver the C2S is ready for the road.
