Vehicle Description
The Dodge Challenger is the name of three different generations and
was marketed by the Dodge division of Chrysler. The Dodge Silver
Challenger was first to be produced from 1958 to 1959 as a limited
edition which inherited its name from the fact that they didn't use
any other paint choice except silver. From 1969 to 1974, the first
generation Dodge Challenger pony car was built using the Chrysler
E-Platform, sharing most of its major components with the Plymouth
Barracuda. The second generation which was in production from 1978
to 1983, was a badge Mitsubishi Galant Lambda. The third and
current generation was introduced in early 2008 as a rival to the
competition, the fifth generation for both, the Ford Mustang and
Chevrolet Camaro.
GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this 1973 Dodge Challenger
for consideration. According to the owner, this vehicle has
received a full restoration back in 2005 by West Side Auto. It also
features a 1970 340 Cuda Motor with 360 heads (ported and
polished), 10-1 forged pistons, 10-10 steel crank, 509 lift-292
duration cam HYD, newer double roller timing chain, 750 dual feed
double pumper with a manual secondary holly carb. The rear quarter
panels have been replaced, front fenders have been repaired, newer
vinyl top, upgraded MSD ignition and X-Pipe Flow Master exhaust.
The exterior paint is finished in "Brandy Candy" by House of
Colors, the paint is in great shape besides a few dings and
scratches. The interior is in fair condition and appears to have
newer vinyl on the seats, the door panels need to be refinished due
to sun fading and chipping. According to our intake inspection, low
beams, high beams, tail lights, turn signals, fog lights, hood and
trunk latches, locks and windows work as they should, the radio has
been upgraded to and aftermarket unit and works great. Please call
