For Sale: 1969 Chevrolet Camaro in Elizabethton, Tennessee

Vehicle Description

1969 Jerry MacNeish Certified Convertible Camaro With Protecto Plate This is a LA built model that spent most of its life in CA. This Camaro was and is as solid as they come with all original panels and floor pans as certified by Jerry MacNeish. No body sag for this convertible ever. The build date is Dec 1968 so it received one the last 327 V8 engines which is rare for this model. It is finished in its original cortez silver. Equipped nicely with a rare 327 V8 engine, TH350 transmission, power top, power steering, power brakes, and factory tinted glass. This is a numbers matching born with drivetrain vehicle. Jerry did question the transmission as he said the vin was not stamped on the transmission pan although it is a 1969 TH350 that matches this vehicle. This Camaro went through an eighteen month rotisserie restoration that included ever single part and bolt being restored, rebuilt, or replaced with top quality parts. It was taken to bare metal with ever single part being restored, rebuilt, replated, or replaced with the best quality parts available. All new wiring throughout insures there to be no electrical issues. All glass panels were replaced with with the correct date coded factory tinted glass. All new brake and gas lines were installed. Ever single prake part is new or restored including the master cylinder and the power booster. Even the power top motor was rebuilt and then fitted with new hydraulic lines. All bushings and steering components are all new to insure a better than new ride. All the window hardware and rollers are new and reworked to provide flawless operation. The exhaust system is a complete Gardner system. All the stainless trim was professionally restored to a show quality finish. I cannot stress enough that everything was restored, rebuilt, replated, or replaced with the best parts available. Everything works and it drives like new or better. It sets on a set of torque thrust rims wrapped with new BF tires. I have an Eaton posi unit installed with 3:73 gears in the rear differential as of now but the original carrier and gear set goes with the car. There is a security system installed so you can feel secure driving and parking anywhere. The radio is a replica of the original which controls the 10 disc CD changer mounted in the trunk. This Camaro can be viewed by appointment and is stored on a lift so a thorough inspection can be performed. This is a must see as over $110,000 has been invested into making this one of the nicest convertibles listed for half the price of the others. Let someone else take the loss; dont by a shell for $20,000 and then put 75,000 into it. Buy this one for half or a third of the price and get in it, drop the top and go.
