Now for sale in our Houston showroom is this 1970 Chevrolet
Chevelle. The Chevelle model line is one of the most iconic muscle
cars of the era and when this one rolled off the assembly line the
Baltimore Orioles had just won the world series against the
Cincinnati Reds. 1970 was the last year of the quad headlight
design that so many grew to love & was the most memorable feature
of the car. This beautifully restored California Chevelle is
absolutely stunning and is in amazing condition. Starting off on
the exterior, the gorgeous PPG Champagne paint featuring black
racing stripes is an example of what a professional high end job
should look like. The paint & body work was completed less than 2
years ago by Brothers Paint & Body out of Temecula, CA. The
exterior trim, emblems, & bumpers are all in great condition as
well. Powering this Chevelle is a custom built 454 CID V8 that is
completely chromed out from the valve covers, intake, & also
featuring dual Edelbrock carburetors feeding the fuel to this
thirsty monster. The engine runs so smooth that you could balance a
quarter on the air cleaner & while it is putting out 535
horsepower!! The engine was built less than 2500 miles ago by Mike
Hayden out of Fallbrook, CA. The power from that 454 CID V8 is
transferred to the ground via a built 200R4 3-speed automatic with
overdrive that leads into a Currie 9-inch rear end with 3:70 gears.
The car has been lowered a couple of inches via its custom
suspension. Up front you will find custom CPP tubular A arms with
coilover shocks & the rear is set up with traction bars & upgraded
struts. The car sits on Foose wheels with 17.8" in the front &
18.10 inch in the rear. The wheels & tires are both in like new
condition. Looking at the interior you will find a complete custom
leather interior with all new custom dash & gauges. The car also
features bucket seats in the back which is a different but very
nice touch. The entire interior was done by Armondo's custom
upholstery in San Jacinto, CA. Other notable features are a
brand-new Vintage air condition system that blows very cold, power
brakes, power steering, beautiful leather interior, tilt steering
wheel, & a custom stereo system with amplifiers & subwoofers hidden
in the truck that is controlled by an equalizer in the center
console with auxiliary cord input. This beautiful restomod would
look great in anyone's garage and you would be the one turning
