Charming and rust free 1948 Buick Sedanette 2dr car, primered sometime in the past and the Arizona sun has beat up the primer, but, I’d rather have bad paint (or primer) than rust all day long!!!
The exterior side trim you can’t see in my pictures is missing.
The straight 8 motor starts and sounds good, the 3 speed transmission works and the car has good brakes.
The Buick just got the fuel tank boiled out and new rear shocks installed.
It was also totally rewired from front to rear and we converted the car to 12 volt while we were at it (cost us over $2500).
And the original radiator was recored and installed again (cost us $600!).
Great wide white wall radials, the front seat and front door panels have been redone in a really nice red vinyl, the rest of the interior still needs to be redone.
2 new tinted windshields were installed with a new window rubber gasket also.
