Vehicle Description
The 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air is iconic. But when you enhance the best
vintage elements like the shinning chrome and upgraded small block
power. Then add in modern touches like four-wheel disc brakes and
new A/C interior. Now you've got an all-around stunner.
This coupe grabs all the right attention. The red follows the
original Chevy color palette, but it now takes advantage of modern
clearcoat shine. And the investment in this one went far more than
just great paint. You know a Bel Air by its acres of chrome and
stainless trim, and thankfully all is present on this coupe. It
includes the wide grille and bumper package with Dagmars as large
as the headlights; the rocket trim on the hood that signified the
jet age; the full-length body trim that ends in the iconic bright
tailfins; and the brightwork that surrounds every window and flows
from the passenger compartment right into the rear bumper. These
are reasons why we all love the icon, but this hardtop has
something more to offer. Those 15-inch, 10-sopke alloys filling the
wheel wells are a clear indication this classy classic has some
performance chops.
Inside is a major upgrade from the 1950s. The gray cloth follows
the original pattern, but there has been a recent investment here
to make it vastly more comfortable than anything that came out of
the '50s. This color and pattern is repeated on the side panels and
roof for a nice uniform feeling to the interior. But more than just
look good, from the moment you slip behind the Grant GT steering
wheel and glance at the glowing digital gauge package, you'll know
this coupe has much more to offer than stock. That's why you'll
love rolling down all the windows and cruising around town. It's
even easier to do that now thanks to the modern R134a air
conditioning that will keep you cool while looking cool all year
long.
As the car that helped launch the small block, this Bel Air
celebrates its heritage with a fully custom built 350 cubic-inch
V8. It's nicely dressed with polished components like the air
grabber, master cylinder, and alternator. But beyond the style is
the serous performance substance of an Edelbrock four-barrel
carburetor, Edelbrock intake, MSD Blaster ignition coil, Super
Stock spark plugs, and headers that add power as they contribute to
the rumble of the dual exhaust. It also has thoughtful components
like the aluminum radiator w/electric fan, so this enhanced V8
stays cool even when you're in traffic with the A/C running. Plus,
upgrades like power steering, three-speed automatic transmission,
and four-wheel disc brakes gives this a fantastic feeling on the
road.
This '57 Chevy has great upgrades, beautiful colors, and some
serious performance on the streets. It's everything you want in one
iconic design. So hurry before someone else grabs your dream Chevy.
