"factory air" 1965 Corvette convertible is available for your
purchase consideration. The Corvette was frame off restored in 2010
and is very well preserved. The owner reports the paint color,
interior trim, engine and differential appear factory matching.
This classic 1965 Sting Ray convertible is privately owned and
located in FLORIDA. SPECIFICATIONS/OPTIONS/FEATURES: This Corvette
convertible is equipped with the performance oriented L79 engine
(327c.i./350 horsepower) mated to a Muncie (M20) 4-speed manual
transmission. It has the G81 Positraction axle (3.70 ratio). Other
factory options are: C60 Air Conditioning. U69 AM/FM radio
(electronically upgraded). A02 Soft Ray tinted windshield. N40
Power steering. A31 Power Windows. Side exhaust (not sure if
factory original). Aftermarket cast aluminum bolt-on style
simulated knock off wheels. Reproduction Gold Line radial tires
(90% tread). 1965 Big block hood. Kenwood speakers (Located in
stowage area and easy to remove). CONDITION RATING (Using a 10-high
scale): The overall appearance condition is owner rated as 9. The
owner reports the Vette drives and handles like a new 1965
Corvette. The engine performance is very strong as you would expect
from a L79 small block. The chassis, steering, suspension and
exhaust system are all like new (tight) and in excellent condition.
The Vette tracks straight down the roadway with no lane drifting
and stops straight. Everything is in excellent working condition
and the factory air conditioning blows cold. This rare Vette is one
of only 2,423 (total coupes & convertibles) ordered with C60 (AC)
