Showroom. Powered by a 24 valve Ford modular 302 V8 with
forged-aluminum pistons and forged-steel connecting rods and
crankshaft, and equipped with a lightweight aluminum flywheel and
high performance exhaust; this HIPO 302 is backed by a Tremec 5
speed manual transmission with a Hurst shifter handling the gear
changes sending power to its 3.73:1 rear gear. Specially calibrated
Saleen N2 dampers and linear-rate coil springs, Watts Linkage on
the live rear axle, and front discs with four-piston calipers are a
few of the upgrades on the Parnelli Jones Edition Saleen. Each
Parnelli Jones Edition is personally signed by both Steve Saleen
and Parnelli Jones and showcased with its serialized dash plaque.
