1957 chevrolet 3100 started life as a Montana farm truck and then a shop truck had the valvoline V on the doors.Still has the 235 6 cylinder it was born with that was professionally rebuilt at Schmidt automotive. The transmission is also newly rebuilt 5 speed that allows you to cruise at 75 on the interstate with no problem. the engine was updated with a new cam dual fenton intake with dual 2 barrel webers fenton split headers and true dual exhaust with cut outs on the mufflers. All new electronic ignition hei distributor coil wires and plugs engine runs fantastic. New hi flow aluminum radiator fan and shroud will run 180 all day. Stock suspension has been upgraded with Ridetech shocks in the front and air shocks in the back new bushings drag link and sway bars front and rear make this classic truck handle much better than completely stock.Brakes have all been redone new master cylinder wheel cylinders brake lines and shoes stops pretty good for all drums. All 4 fenders are new as are the bumpers and grill small dent in front bumper. New heater core so you could drive it in the fall and winter never driven in the rain or snow wipers do work though always garage kept. All electrical switches have been replaced with new more reliable parts. New bed wood red cedar both doors have new glass and weatherstriping new tires and the paint is less than a year old. Less than 6000 miles on a frame off restoration this is a turn key truck that will take you anywhere you want to go worry free. My son and I took her on 1500 miles of the Hot Rod Power Tour and had a blast. I hate to sell but am ready for another project !
