New to our Pleasanton showroom is this gorgeous 1950 Ford F1 1/2
Ton 2 Door Pickup with red exterior paint and a black cloth
interior. �It features a 500+ horsepower 351 Cleveland 351 cid V-8
engine under the hood with 4 bbl. carburetors, closed chamber
heads, a 4-bolt main, a 3,200-3,500 stall converter and a C6
automatic transmission. �You'll also find a 9" rear end with a
Detroit Locker and a coil over rear suspension, a Fat Man frame,
power brakes, Carrera coil over shocks, custom rack & pinion tilt
steering, and so much more. �This one has to be seen in person to
truly appreciate. �
Completely Restored & Customized Back in 2001
The current owner of this 1950 Ford F1 1/2 Ton Pickup purchased it
way back in 1979 and has enjoyed it for the past 38 years. �He had
it fully restored in September of 2001 with an emphasis on
performance and this quality show truck can still really move. �The
restoration effort saw this one stripped down to bare metal and
rebuilt from the ground up with high quality components throughout,
including custom Autometer gauges, a gorgeous hardwood bed, a
Painless wiring harness, a 21 gallon fuel tank and far too many
other upgrades to fully list.
Although it is an older restoration, this pickup has been
maintained beautifully over the years and only shows slight signs
of wear. �The body, paint and chrome work are near perfect with
only the slightest of imperfections, while the trunk and engine bay
will meet even the most discerning of collector's expectations.
�The interior is also super clean and the flooring has been kept
bare metal, so the next owner can choose their own carpeting or
enjoy it as the current owner did without it. ��
