Attached is the Senior Badge award document for the Cadillac as a result of it taking first place in a CCCA National judging meet in 1999. This makes it one of about 3500 current senior badge vehicles in the world. I purchased the car in 2002 and have had it stored in a heated garage at my home since then. The car is exactly the same as when it took 1st place in the CCCA nationals in Indianapolis in 1999 except for some mechanical improvements. The engine was rebuilt about 8 years ago by Waterhouse Machine in Tacoma to correct a rod knock due to a defect in the original restoration. We also replaced the entire fuel system from tank to carburetor to correct fuel system issues caused by ethanol gas. The system is now fully compatible with ethanol gas. The car has been driven largely to local shows and family events. it has also been a favorite car to transport bride and grooms in wedding for family and friends. The car is very solid and runs great. I would not hesitate to drive it across country–if the weather was good!
