Vehicle Description
The History of the Bus or formally called the Type II is long and
rich, and lets face it, if you are VW fan then you probably know
most of it. You also know that the values of these Buses have gone
through the roof. The earliest Buses have sold in the six-figure
range and even the overused campers of the 1970's have seen a surge
in collectability. Bringing attention to the ones that have not
been restored and specifically used for the intended purpose of
traveling and camping. I know, sounds crazy but there are still
some people out there that just want to use them.
This particular VW definitely has been used and been in long term
ownership. The interior on this specific bus is in used but good
working condition. The canvas has been replaced with good
upholstery for the majority of the bus. The bad is obvious rust
issues with a re-paint somewhere down the line to its original
color of green. The good however is that this Bus has had a very
recent $4000.00 mechanical overhaul from engine to brake work. I
have personally driven this and would not be afraid to drive it
anywhere. It has a good sound system and is priced for someone that
wants to get in and enjoy that is not worried about dirt roads.
