Vehicle Description
Up for sale now in our Houston Showroom is this sweet 1957
Chevrolet Bel Air. The 1955 Bel Air was 3,456 lb (1,568 kg) and 15
ft (4.6 m) long. It was called the "Hot One" in GM's advertising
campaign. Chevrolet's styling was crisp, clean and incorporated a
Ferrari-inspired grille. In 1957 engine displacement grew to 283 cu
in (4,640 cc) with the "Super Turbo Fire V8" option producing 283
hp (211 kW) with the help of continuous (closed loop) mechanical
fuel injection. This Bel Air has its original 283 CID V8 that was
rebuilt 420 miles ago. It is paired to a 2-speed power glide
transmission that was also rebuilt at the same time as the engine.
The exterior has a recent beautiful turquoise paint job that looks
amazing with the white painted roof and brushed metal trim on the
sides. Looking at the interior you will find a new multicolor vinyl
seats, carpet, & door panels that really pull the look of the car
together. The car sits on American racing wheels wrapped in BF
Goodrich rally tires. This Bel Air has it all, show & go. It sounds
great, looks great, & also is a wonderful driving car as well. You
would be lucky to show up to your local car meet in this beauty.
