Gateway Classic Cars of Houston is proud to offer a beautiful 1978
Lincoln Continental Town Car. Finished in Jade Green, this beauty
is ready to cruise. They certainly don't make them like they used
to. These 1970's land yachts certainly ride like a dream. This
Lincoln comes from the days of $0.65/gal gas, bell bottoms, and the
release of "Grease" the film. Lincoln produced the Continental for
those driver's that wanted the most luxurious car money could buy.
All 19" of this Lincoln command attention. This '78 model sports
one of the last of the 460 CI V8s. This big V8 is perfect for long
haul highway cruising in comfort and style. Of course, it comes
with and automatic transmission, in this case a C6. Power equipment
is everywhere: motorized antenna, steering, brakes, windows, 4-way
power seats, & it even has a digital thermometer on the driver's
side mirror! This particular Lincoln has only tallied 73,952 miles
since new and looks great. It has been repainted in its original
color within the past year. Even the AC has been maintained and
works well. If you're wanting a comfortable cruiser from the 1970s,
this is it. The owner has fitted the car with rear air suspension
to give the car an even more smooth ride while listening to the
original in-dash working 8-track player! An additional CD player
with remote is custom mounted into the glove box. The car also
features brand new tires on all 4 corners so this baby is ready to
roll across the country. You can see this 1978 Lincoln Continental
Town Car in greater detail in our Houston showroom or at
