Up for sale in our Houston showroom is a 1971 Ford Ranchero. The Ranchero was a very well received and sold very well in its debut in 1957. It did so well that Chevrolet created their own version on the Ranchero with the El Camino years later. The year 1970 marked the beginning of the 5th generation of the Ranchero that sparked a complete restyling of the great selling muscle car. The 1971 is distinguished by a grilled divided by a center section. This Ranchero is fitted with Fords popular 302 CID V8 but this particular 302 V8 has had some desirable upgrades done to it during its rebuilding. Noted upgrades include all Edelbrock intake manifold, carburetor, camshaft with lifters. Also worth mentioning are the installed APR head bolts, forged pistons & rods, plus much more. Paired to the built V8 is a 3-speed automatic transmission that leads into a 9 inch rear end.
